About This Role

Urgent requirement for Senior Solutions Architect with experience in Digital Custody ,W ealth management and Brokerage platforms is required for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi ,UAE Design, implementation, integration, and production support of Wealth Management, Brokerage, and Investment platforms-- Must Experience in implementing Digital Asset (crypto currency) trading platform / Custody platform--- Must Hands-on technical leadership, proactive system resilience improvements, and 24/7 on-call production support in a highly regulated financial environment.-- Must Deep functional and technical expertise in Brokerage and Trading systems, with hands-on knowledge of UAE exchanges (ADX, DFM) and exposure to international markets.-- Must Design and implement scalable solutions using microservices, APIs, and integration patterns-- Must Ensure solutions align with UAE Central Bank regulations, Open Banking frameworks, and international banking standards .--Must Role Overview The Senior Solutions Architect / Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and production support of Wealth Management, Brokerage, and Investment platforms. The role requires deep techno-functional expertise across wealth asset classes, trading systems, consumer banking integrations, and modern cloud-native architectures, with strong ownership of production stability, scalability, and regulatory compliance. The position demands hands-on technical leadership, proactive system resilience improvements, and 24/7 on-call production support in a highly regulated financial environment. Key Responsibilities Wealth, Investment & Brokerage Systems

• Lead implementation and production support of Wealth and Investment Management systems, supporting asset classes such as equities, bonds, funds, digital assets, and retirement products.
• Design and support Robo-advisory platforms, corporate actions processing, and portfolio lifecycle management.
• Provide deep functional and technical expertise in Brokerage and Trading systems, with hands-on knowledge of UAE exchanges (ADX, DFM) and exposure to international markets.
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle including order capture, execution, settlement, custody, and reporting.
• Contribute to virtual / digital asset models and platform implementations as part of the bank’s digital strategy.

Production Support & System Reliability

• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to support mission-critical wealth and trading platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across applications, integrations, databases, and infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Design and maintain graphical dashboards and health reports to monitor system performance, availability, and risks.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to drive strategic enhancements aimed at improving stability, scalability, and resilience.

Consumer Banking & Functional Expertise

• Apply strong understanding of consumer banking products including savings accounts, loans, mortgages, credit cards, and digital banking channels.
• Ensure solutions align with UAE Central Bank regulations, Open Banking frameworks, and international banking standards.
• Incorporate risk management, fraud detection, and mitigation controls into application and integration designs.
• Support payment processing flows, transaction processing, clearing, and settlement mechanisms.
• Follow best practices for change management, release management, and controlled production deployments.

Technical Responsibilities Architecture & Engineering

• Design and implement scalable solutions using microservices, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Develop and support applications using Java and/or .NET Core frameworks.
• Architect and optimize systems using relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Build and deploy solutions on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring high availability and security.
• Apply cybersecurity principles, data privacy controls, and secure-by-design architecture.

DevOps & Modern Engineering

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and orchestration.
• Leverage monitoring, logging, and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging fintech technologies such as blockchain, AI/ML, and digital wallets and assess their applicability.

Tools & Collaboration

• Create architecture diagrams and solution blueprints using Visio, Draw.io, or equivalent tools.
• Actively use JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools for delivery tracking and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Infrastructure teams.

Required Skills & ExperienceMandatory

• 7–10 years of experience in financial services technology, with strong focus on wealth management and brokerage platforms
• Hands-on experience in production support and system operations
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated environments

Desirable

• Experience working in UAE or GCC banking environments
• Exposure to digital assets / virtual asset platforms
• Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure)
