Senior Solution Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain end-to-end solution architecture for Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
• Design secure, scalable solutions using Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Lead design for new services, enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Review existing architecture for optimization, modernization, and simplification.
• Design integrations with Databricks, enterprise applications, APIs, external systems, and data platforms.
• Define API, integration, data-flow, authentication, and security architecture.
• Apply application, data, integration, and infrastructure architecture principles.
• Collaborate across business analysis, development, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and project teams.
• Review technical designs, architecture documents, integration specifications, and development approaches.
• Guide development and implementation teams; participate in technical evaluations and architecture review boards.
• Ensure security, data protection, governance, and architecture compliance; identify technical risks and dependencies.
• Consider high availability, disaster recovery, performance, scalability, and maintainability in solution designs.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 10 years of IT experience, including significant solution or enterprise architecture experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM experience.
• Strong Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse expertise, including architecture, customization, security roles, workflows, plugins, APIs, and integrations.
• Strong Azure cloud architecture and enterprise integration design experience, including APIs, REST, messaging, and integration platforms.
• Understanding of CRM integration with enterprise data platforms and Databricks architecture.
• Understanding of Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and secure API integration.
• Experience with enterprise architecture principles and documentation; understanding of performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.

Desirable technologies and certifications

• Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Power Platform, and Power BI are highly desirable.
• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Dynamics 365-related certifications, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and TOGAF or equivalent.
