Role overview

Play a key role in project success from conception through final delivery, using architecture expertise and Oracle technologies to deliver scalable solutions aligned with client needs and industry practices.

Responsibilities

  • Translate client requirements into technical solutions with sales and pre-sales teams, and help prioritize technical initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Design and document enterprise architectures across applications, integrations, data, security, cloud, infrastructure, and networking.
  • Use Oracle technologies to align solutions with client infrastructure and future needs.
  • Guide development teams to ensure implementations meet architecture specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance throughout projects and ensure software architectures are scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
  • Present solutions to clients and stakeholders and contribute to technical proposals and RFPs.
  • Identify and mitigate architecture risks, including security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 18+ years of solution architecture experience and expertise across application, integration, data, security, cloud, infrastructure, and networking domains.
  • Comprehensive understanding of architectural design principles and practices, including responsibility-driven and domain-driven design and event storming.
  • Extensive knowledge of architectural styles and patterns, including layered, N-tier, microservices, APIs, messaging, data platforms, security controls, cloud, and infrastructure patterns.
  • Strategic focus on maintainability, reusability, configurability, operability, and security.
  • Proficiency in Oracle technologies, including Java, ADF, OAF, PL/SQL, WebCenter, WebLogic, BPM Suite, Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, and other listed Oracle products.
  • Strong architecture modeling experience using UML or modern modeling tools.
  • Strong documentation experience using RUP4+, IEEE1471/ISO42010, or Views and Beyond approaches.
