Senior Software Engineer (Level 18) – Platform & Integration, serving as a technical decision owner in Risk & Corporate Services.

Responsibilities
- Design and integrate enterprise-platform solutions for scalability, maintainability, and alignment with EDC standards.
- Own architectural integrity and integration decisions; evaluate trade-offs and determine appropriate automation versus human oversight.
- Govern safe, responsible AI-enabled delivery and maintain accountability for outputs.
- Validate AI-assisted code, designs, and workflows for accuracy, reliability, and standards alignment.
- Develop secure, scalable, performant solutions, including APIs, cloud-native components, and integrations.
- Ensure reliability and support defect resolution.
Workplace
- Hybrid work environment with a current requirement of three days per week, subject to change.
- Role may be performed from Ottawa headquarters or a community hub in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Laval, or Brossard.
Compensation
- Annual salary typically ranges from $96,557 to $128,743, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.
Employment and organization
Employment type is permanent.
The position supports responsible use of automation and AI-enabled capabilities with accountability, traceability, enterprise standards, and risk controls.
