What you’ll do

• Spend most of the time coding; build, debug, optimize, and review code while following quality practices.
• Mentor team members and support continuous learning.
• Make architectural decisions, track technology developments, and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to improve user experiences and integrations.
• Improve application health, quality, and performance, respond to feedback, and address critical issues.
• Contribute to technology initiatives and innovation.
• Plan project timelines and manage tasks effectively.
• Provide technical guidance, lead projects, and coordinate with other teams.

What you’ll bring

• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience in complex software systems.
• Proficiency in Java for backend services, including Spring Boot; experience with TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, system design, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and caching solutions.
• Experience on platform teams or building shared developer tools and frameworks.
• Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code; analytical and problem-solving ability; strong communication and leadership skills.
• Cloud-native experience such as GCP or Azure and DevOps practices; experience with e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity, observability or developer productivity tools, and open-source contributions or platform evangelism are noted as additional qualifications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical discipline and 5+ years’ experience are stated; minimum qualifications also allow a related bachelor’s degree plus 3 years, or 5 years’ experience without that degree.

Compensation

• For Bellevue, Washington, the annual salary range is $108,000 to $216,000; additional compensation may include performance bonuses and stock.
