Senior Software Engineer II - Full Stack Web Application

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end frontend and backend web application development on a multi-functional team.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate business needs into acceptance criteria.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and process refinement.
• Optimize code for accessibility, performance, availability, and latency.
• Increase deployment confidence through tests, reliability frameworks, and automation opportunities.
• Investigate and resolve production issues with the site reliability team.
• Innovate and implement technologies to improve teams and applications.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of web development experience.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks and state management, such as React.js and Redux.
• Proficiency building APIs with Node.js, REST, GraphQL, and Express.
• Experience with modern JavaScript coding, open-source ecosystems, and development practices.
• Ability to optimize for customer experience, accessibility, and performance.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions and plan execution.
• Ability to mentor engineers and improve the developer experience.
• Comfort working with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Initiative to collaborate on team problems and enthusiasm for innovation and automation.
