Role overview

Build the responsive, PWA-standard web app serving as the primary interface for CoreConnect, CargoX’s autonomous fleet-orchestration platform.

The role emphasizes system reliability, product impact, autonomy, pragmatism, ownership, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize a resilient SSR-first Next.js app, making rendering and React Server Component decisions.
  • Build optimistic UI and resilient data synchronization for poor-connectivity environments; optimize server-side data fetching and bundles.
  • Create data- and map-driven interfaces for real-time operations and visual workflow components for robot, order, and mission lifecycles.
  • Establish frontend performance, security, accessibility, and observability standards; translate product goals into requirements and prototypes.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering Leadership, and DevSecOps; mentor engineers, lead code reviews, improve processes, and promote operational excellence.
  • Own the code lifecycle and frontend incident management, including root-cause analysis and prevention of client-side failures.

Experience and education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Mandatory focus on TypeScript and Next.js or React.
  • Fluency in Business English is required.

Technical qualifications

  • Hands-on SSR-first Next.js architecture, React Server Components, rendering strategy, server-side data fetching, and bundle optimization experience.
  • Experience with real-time browser streams, scalable state management, complex APIs, optimistic UI, and offline-first synchronization.
  • Knowledge of frontend security, including XSS prevention and secure token handling; automated unit, integration, and E2E testing; performance monitoring and observability.
  • Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, Rust, Ruby, or Go and REST or GraphQL services; cloud/AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD, and Terraform or Helm experience.
  • Logistics, robotics, fleet management, mission-control dashboards, or high-density/geospatial visualization experience is complementary.

Working approach

  • Navigate ambiguity, balance technical quality with commercial objectives, manage technical debt, ship MVPs, and collaborate effectively through feedback and code reviews.
