Senior Software Engineer

Role purpose

Key responsibilities

• Configure and enhance CRM entities, forms, views, business rules, security roles, and service processes.
• Develop and maintain Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate workflows.
• Implement and support integrations between Finance & Operations, HR, CRM, portals, and internal applications.
• Design Dataverse structures and access controls, maintain data quality, and resolve application data issues.
• Develop CRM plugins, custom APIs, and extensions when standard configuration is insufficient.
• Administer Power Platform environments, solutions, connections, permissions, deployments, and governance.
• Translate departmental requirements into application changes and troubleshoot workflow and integration failures.
• Coordinate testing and releases, document solutions, and manage specialist vendor dependencies for complex ERP/HR changes.

Education and experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of enterprise application delivery experience, including at least 3 years with Dynamics 365 CRM/CE and Power Platform.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse development.
• At least 2 years integrating Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with enterprise applications or digital portals.

Technical qualifications

• Working knowledge of HR processes and integration requirements, including coordination with functional specialists.
• Practical experience with C#/.NET plugins, JavaScript, Dynamics Web API, and custom connectors.
• Power Pages experience configuring portals, authentication, table permissions, and bilingual user experiences.
• Strong Dataverse modelling and query skills; proficiency with SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Functions, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with managed/unmanaged solutions, environment variables, connection references, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of least-privilege access, data loss prevention policies, auditability, and controlled change management.
• Ability to deliver independently while coordinating with business owners, integration engineers, and ERP vendors.
