Senior Software Development Engineer II

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product architecture roadmap and end-to-end release delivery.
• Communicate with stakeholders across product delivery.
• Improve technology, processes, product quality, and engineering practices.
• Support product-team governance for solution quality and efficiency.
• Build automated processes wherever possible.
• Mentor the team and support engineering operations process definition.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of IT experience in solution design and development.
• Agile Java software development experience.
• Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering Java and open-source solutions in global organizations.
• Experience implementing REST services.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring, Spring Batch, microservices, Redis, Angular, and cloud computing.
• Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Git, GitLab, Jenkins, scripting, and Python experience is desirable.
• Terraform and Ansible experience is desirable.
• AWS SDK CLI, CodeDeploy, and related AWS service experience is desirable.
• Data structures and algorithms skills are preferred.
• Understanding of low-code or no-code platforms is preferred.
• DevOps CI/CD process understanding is preferred.
• Banking or finance domain experience is a plus.
