About This Role
Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Senior SOC Consultant (L2–L3)
with 7–9 years of strong cybersecurity experience within a
Managed Security Services (MSSP) SOC environment
.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise with
XDR, MDR, and SIEM technologies
such as
Taegis, CrowdStrike NG SIEM (LogScale)
, and other modern detection platforms.
This role blends technical depth, operational excellence, leadership, and customer-facing responsibilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- **7–9 years**
- in cybersecurity, with
- 6+ years in SOC operations (MSSP mandatory)
- **XDR**
- : Taegis, CrowdStrike Falcon XDR, Rapid7 IDR, Defender XDR, Cortex XDR
- **SIEM / NG SIEM**
: CrowdStrike LogScale, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Elastic
- **EDR**
- : CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Defender for Endpoint
- Incident detection/response
- Threat hunting & RCA
- Log analysis (endpoint/network/cloud/identity/email)
- Detection/rule writing
- SOC process development
- Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27035, Cyber Kill Chain
- Experience handling ransomware, credential compromise, lateral movement, insider threats, etc.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset
- Excellent communication for customer-facing interactions
- Ability to lead and mentor junior analysts
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced MSSP SOC environment
Qualifications & Certifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor's in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Preferred certifications:
- CrowdStrike:
• Splunk Core / Power User
- **GCIA, GCIH, CISM**
- Microsoft Security:
SC-series
