The Senior SOC Analyst leads security monitoring, analyzes log sources, responds to incidents, and enhances the security operations program.

Compensation and Duration
- Salary is AED 18,000–19,000 per month.
- The engagement is for one year and can be extended.
- The required notice period is immediate or up to one month.
Certifications and Education
- Related security certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Security+, CISSP, CISM, GICSP, GCIH, GCIA, or GRID are advantageous.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience identifying trends and patterns in host-based and network-based security logs.
- Experience using Wireshark and open-source tools such as ELK, Rekall, Ghidra, and FlareVM.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, or Unix and an understanding of NIDS/HIDS.
- Experience monitoring SIEM alerts with tools such as Splunk and EDR solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Validate incidents escalated by Tier 1 SOC Security Analysts.
- Perform second-level threat analysis and assess impacts on services and information.
- Research, analyze, and correlate diverse datasets.
- Recommend incident handling and security monitoring improvements.
- Identify weaknesses in software, hardware, and networks.
- Analyze incidents and communicate threats to stakeholders.
- Validate network alerts with relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze logs, evidence, and network traffic to identify attackers and anomalous activity.
- Monitor external threat intelligence sources.
- Maintain SIEM content, tuning, reports, and dashboards.
