Role overview

Experience and education

• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, computer science, IT, information systems management, or engineering.
• An MBA or master’s degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
• CEH, ISO 27001, ISC2 CC, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Project delivery, research, documentation, reporting, or stakeholder coordination experience is expected.

Skills and knowledge

• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and security operations is required.
• Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies in cybersecurity is required.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, NIST 800-series, and IEC 62443 is specified.
• Strong analytics, reporting, communication, presentation, time-management, and problem-solving skills are specified.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines are specified.
• Exposure to cybersecurity awareness, training, advisory, cyber exercises, security operations, incident response, SOC, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or cyber defense is preferred or advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Cyber Academy training, training advisory, cyber exercise, and awareness engagements; delivery may be remote or onsite depending on client requirements.
• Assist with planning and delivery of cybersecurity training, awareness campaigns, and educational initiatives.
• Support CTF, cyber drill, and crisis simulation exercise design and execution, including scenarios, facilitation, and reporting.
• Research cybersecurity trends, threats, frameworks, and industry practices for content and client work.
• Prepare training materials, awareness collateral, presentations, participant guides, and post-engagement reports.
• Support AI-enabled automation integration for cost reduction or revenue generation.
• Assist with proposals, RFP responses, effort estimates, and client presentations; contribute to service and process improvements.
• If required by the business, support security incident response, investigation, and project-team communication.
