Senior Site Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil site work and ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project disciplines; resolve technical and construction issues with relevant teams.
• Monitor progress, the approved programme, manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources.
• Review drawings and technical documents; inspect completed works for quality compliance.
• Ensure HSE compliance and maintain site reports, inspection requests, progress updates, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate consultant inspections and closure of comments; support quantity measurements, material inspections, and civil/MEP/architectural coordination.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least seven years of relevant construction experience.
• Proven UAE construction experience and main-contractor experience are mandatory; consultant-only experience will not be considered.
• Strong building construction experience, particularly apartment or residential projects.
• Experience in site execution, structural works, finishing works, and coordinating multiple construction activities.
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards, and authority requirements; ability to interpret civil and structural drawings and specifications.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills; willingness to work at Qasr Al Jurf, Abu Dhabi.

Preferred experience

• Large-scale residential, apartment, hotel, or mixed-use project experience is preferred.
• Abu Dhabi project experience and experience coordinating consultants and subcontractors on major projects are preferred.

• The role is based at the Qasr Al Jurf project site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
