Senior Security Engineer – Microsoft Defender & Purview
for a leading enterprise organization in
Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities
✅ Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Defender security solutions across enterprise environments.
✅ Configure and manage Microsoft Purview, including DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Retention Policies, and Compliance Controls.
✅ Perform threat hunting, incident investigation, and response using Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
✅ Deploy and optimize Microsoft Sentinel, including analytics rules, automation playbooks, and SIEM/SOAR integrations.
✅ Implement Zero Trust security controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
✅ Conduct security assessments, gap analysis, and recommend remediation aligned with Microsoft security best practices.
✅ Support governance, compliance, and data protection initiatives.
✅ Collaborate with SOC, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams on security operations.
Required Skills & Experience
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
✔️ 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Security and Azure technologies.
✔️ Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Microsoft Defender XDR
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Microsoft Defender for Identity
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Microsoft Purview
- Microsoft Sentinel
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- eDiscovery & Compliance
🏅 Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- 🏅 SC-200 – Security Operations Analyst Associate
- 🏅 SC-400 – Information Protection & Compliance Administrator Associate
- 🏅 SC-300 – Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- 🏅 AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or CIS frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Security, SIEM/SOAR, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting.
