We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across strategic banking transformation initiatives focused on Lending and Mortgage products.
This role is suited for professionals who have successfully delivered complex banking programs involving core banking integrations, loan origination platforms, mortgage systems, digital transformation initiatives, and large-scale migration projects.
The selected candidate will play a key role in driving delivery excellence, enabling high-performing Agile teams, and ensuring business outcomes are achieved within demanding enterprise environments.
Agile Leadership & Team Enablement
- Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies across multiple delivery squads.
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Drive team effectiveness, accountability, delivery predictability, and operational excellence.
- Support enterprise Agile initiatives and scaled delivery frameworks where applicable.
Delivery Management
- Identify and remove delivery blockers while managing dependencies across teams and vendors.
- Monitor sprint progress, team performance metrics, and delivery health indicators.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure quality standards, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done are consistently achieved.
Banking Systems Transformation
- Coordinate delivery across Lending, Mortgage, Core Banking, CRM, Middleware, and Digital Banking platforms.
- Facilitate integration planning, testing readiness, and release coordination activities.
- Work closely with architects, business teams, QA, and implementation partners to ensure successful execution.
- Support UAT, business validation, and production readiness activities.
Migration & Modernisation Programs
- Drive Agile execution for data migration, system replacement, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Coordinate cutover planning, deployment readiness, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Ensure critical business continuity and operational risks are effectively managed.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted delivery partner for business leaders, program managers, PMOs, and technology stakeholders.
- Provide clear reporting on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and team performance.
- Facilitate decision-making workshops and governance forums.
- Ensure adherence to banking delivery standards, controls, and audit requirements.
Mandatory Experience
- 8+ years of Scrum Master, Agile Delivery, or Agile Program experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong domain expertise in Lending, Mortgage, Retail Banking, or Loan Management ecosystems.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale transformation programs.
- Hands-on experience managing Agile delivery across integrations, implementations, and migration projects.
- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- Active Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with banks or financial institutions in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
- Exposure to major banking platforms such as Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Finastra, Mambu, or similar solutions.
- Experience working within regulated banking environments.
- Additional Agile or scaled delivery certifications (SAFe, RTE, SPC, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and related Agile toolsets.
