Role overview

Guide project teams in applying Scrum, align delivery teams, Product Owners, and client stakeholders, and maintain a shared view of progress.

The contract starts as soon as possible and runs through December 31, 2026, with possible extension into the new year.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove blockers by engaging internal and client stakeholders.
  • Coach team members, Product Owners, and client teams on Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize a sprint-ready backlog.
  • Manage Azure DevOps boards, iterations, work items, and dashboards.
  • Track sprint metrics and report progress, risks, and trends to leadership and clients.
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams and workstreams; mentor Scrum practitioners and promote consistent Agile practices.

What you'll bring

  • Five years of Scrum Master experience, including supporting multiple teams.
  • Hands-on Azure DevOps experience managing Agile delivery within the last three years is required.
  • Client-facing delivery, consulting, or professional services experience is an asset.
  • Scrum knowledge is required; Kanban or SAFe knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience supporting software development, platform implementation, or data and information management teams.
  • Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills, and ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Industry exposure in oil and gas, chemicals, mining, power generation, food and beverage, manufacturing, or industrial construction is an asset.
  • Active CSM, PSM, or SSM certification is an asset.
