Lead development efforts, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with UK stakeholders while remaining hands-on.
Responsibilities
- Translate user stories into technical solutions and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Work with Product Owners and QA to deliver high-quality releases.
- Own production issues and ensure resolution within SLAs.
- Collaborate with UK business and technology teams and communicate technical updates clearly.
- Liaise with Salesforce on technical issues and product capabilities.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and ecosystem trends and share updates with the team.
- Develop proofs of concept for new features and integrations.
- Mentor junior developers and guide best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior developer role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Apex Test Classes, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Flows, Triggers, and Custom Objects.
- Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AppExchange applications.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
Technical skills
- Required Salesforce technologies include Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Flows, Triggers, and Custom Objects.
- Required platform experience includes Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, AppExchange, APIs, REST, and web services.
- Familiarity with Agentforce and AI-driven automation concepts is desirable.
- CI/CD tools may include Copado, Gearset, or AutoRabbit, with GitHub or Bitbucket for version control.
- Additional exposure may include Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, NICE CXone, AWS, MuleSoft, and Tableau.
Preferred certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred.
- Service Cloud Consultant certification is nice to have.

- The candidate must be willing to work UK shift timings to support effective collaboration with UK business stakeholders.
