About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets, room nights, and new business goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate, group, and travel trade accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities through sales calls, blitz, and market research.
- Negotiate contracts and renewals to maximize revenue.
- Prepare sales reports, market analysis, and update management on performance.
- Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Banquets, Reservations, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle VIP guests, ensure personalized service, and support guest satisfaction.
- Follow up with clients before, during, and after events/stays to encourage repeat business.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor activity and contribute to market strategy.
Qualifications
- Achieve sales goals by managing the sales team.
- A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and sales productivity.
- Commercially astute, multi-tasker who is motivated by challenge.
- Driven and ambitious to increase productivity and sales volume with appropriate techniques.
- Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to enhance the hotels community image.
