Role Description
The Senior Sales Manager is a contract, remote role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding partnerships for Phoenix Global Education’s AI + Metaverse platform and related programs.
Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, managing the sales pipeline, and conducting virtual meetings and demos with universities, schools, and industry partners.
The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals in alignment with company targets.
The Senior Sales Manager will collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to refine offerings, gather market feedback, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
This position also requires monitoring sales performance, reporting on key metrics, and continuously exploring new markets and partnership opportunities within global education.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in edtech, SaaS, or digital platforms.
- Strong skills in lead generation, opportunity qualification, and pipeline management.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities, with comfort leading virtual demos and meetings.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies, including account planning and market expansion initiatives.
- Solid understanding of global education trends and interest in AI, immersive technologies, or the Metaverse.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders across regions and cultures.
- Self-directed work style, strong organizational skills, and effectiveness in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track performance and inform decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring sales teams is an advantage for this senior-level role.
