Requirements
- Hold an accreditation in Risk Management from a recognised body like Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) or Governance Institute of Australia (GIA ), or be willing to obtain one after joining AustralianSuper.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and translate external regulatory requirements to shape business outcomes
- 5+ years’ experience in operations risk management, ideally working in the Financial Services or Insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of operations, risk and compliance frameworks, as well as incident management practices.
- Ability to translate complex and technical information into relatable terms and concepts.
- The ability to analyse trends across risks, controls and incidents, diagnose problems and recommend actions that address underlying root causes.
- Excellent oral and written communication and data presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and develop and maintain high-quality interpersonal relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside the Fund.
- Experience working autonomously, setting and managing conflicting priorities and meeting specified timeframes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable.
