Business Analyst
Role Overview
AustralianSuper’s purpose is simple: to help members achieve their best possible retirement outcomes.
As our international presence continues to grow, we are investing in the capabilities, processes, systems and data needed to support an increasingly global organisation.
Our International Offices Projects and Change team plays an important role in enabling that growth, working across business and functional areas to deliver complex projects, organisational change and new capabilities.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our London-based Fund Services team.
Reporting to the Principal, International Offices Projects and Change, you will lead the identification, analysis and articulation of business requirements across a diverse portfolio of projects and change initiatives within AustralianSuper’s International Offices.
This is a senior, hands-on Business Analyst role where you will provide in-house expertise across requirements engineering, operational impact assessments, process modelling, data modelling and wider project analysis.
You will work with stakeholders across AustralianSuper’s International and Australian offices, partnering with colleagues at all levels of the organisation to understand complex business needs, assess the impact of change and help translate requirements into practical solutions.

Lead assessments to understand how projects and change initiatives will impact processes, systems, data and other elements of the International Offices operating model.
Develop structured approaches to documenting current-state environments and assessing the impact of proposed changes.
Help stakeholders understand organisational impacts and identify considerations required for successful implementation.
Process Modelling
Lead the documentation of current and target-state processes using standardised Business Process Model and Notation approaches.
Facilitate workshops and interviews to understand and model complex business processes.
Work effectively with stakeholders at different levels of seniority and with varying levels of process-modelling knowledge.

Lead analysis relating to data models and complex data requirements.
Investigate data issues and dependencies that could affect project outcomes.
Use data analysis to strengthen business requirements and support effective project design and decision-making.

Lead structured analysis to support effective decision-making across projects and change initiatives.
Create high-quality project artefacts including business requirements documents, traceability matrices and business process models.
Document requirements through user stories, use cases, prototypes and wireframes where appropriate.
Work within project delivery governance frameworks to ensure business analysis activities support successful project outcomes.
