Senior Resident Engineer

Role overview

Duties and responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction and conduct site inspections.
• Prepare and implement project plans; research projects and provide estimates.
• Review government regulations and ordinances.
• Monitor safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance; recommend improvements or alternatives.
• Liaise with clients and professional subcontractors and negotiate project details.
• Resolve day-to-day site problems and check construction work against plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is listed; the education section separately labels a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license and at least 15 years of industry knowledge and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical and critical thinking; accurate calculations and design; excellent time management.
• Familiarity with Autodesk, AutoCAD, and Revit is listed.
• Preferred experience: Dubai Electrical Engineer (5 years), DEWA approved (1 year), and engineering consultants (3 years).
