Senior Quantity Surveyor - MEP

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract cost planning, estimating, pricing, and BOQ preparation.
• Prepare and review tender documentation, evaluate tenders, and provide cost analysis.
• Manage MEP cost planning and pricing for major building and development projects.
• Apply QA/QC procedures and internal peer reviews to ensure cost deliverables are accurate and high quality.
• Independently review and challenge cost information for project compliance and quality.
• Advise using UAE market rates, contractor pricing, supplier costs, and procurement practices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and prepare cost reports and technical recommendations.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum 15 years of quantity surveying or cost management experience, including at least 10 years in pre-contract work.
• Extensive UAE project experience and strong knowledge of local market rates and procurement practices.
• Proven MEP cost management and pricing expertise across major building and development projects.
• Previous experience with reputable PMC and cost consultancy firms.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures for cost plans, BOQs, estimates, and tender documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
