Manage commercial and quantity surveying aspects of construction and refurbishment works throughout the project lifecycle.
The position may be considered at QS or Project QS level, depending on experience and suitability.
Responsibilities
- Provide cost management and commercial support for civil/building and MEP works.
- Prepare, review, and manage quantities, valuations, variations, claims, and cost reports.
- Monitor project costs and commercial performance against approved budgets.
- Review contractor submissions, measurements, payment applications, and supporting documentation.
- Support assessment and management of variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams across disciplines.
- Provide commercial advice and identify potential cost and contractual risks.
Qualifications and experience
- Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant UAE experience and proven construction and refurbishment project experience.
- Good understanding of civil/building and MEP works and their commercial aspects.
- Strong Quantity Surveying and Cost Management experience, including post-contract valuations, variations, claims, cost reporting, and final accounts.
- Abu Dhabi-based candidates are preferred; others must be willing and able to commute to Abu Dhabi daily.
- MRICS is preferred but not required.
