Overview
1. **Pre-Contract**
2.
Assist to prepare detailed cost estimates for the tender.
3.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
4.
Quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documents using
Plan Swift /AUTOCAD
.
5.
Preparation of (RFQ) packages for sub-contractors and sending inquiry and follow up to get quotations.
6.
Reading tender addendums / revised drawings and revising quantities accordingly.
7.
Quantity take-off for rebar/reinforcement in details as per structural drawings.
8.
Understating of scope of works and take quantities.
9.
Highlighting discrepancies between drawings & BOQ and specification to Sr.
QS to prepare Request for Information (RFI)
10.
Preparation of comparison statements.
11.
Proficiency in estimation (Excel).
12.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
13.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
14. **Post-contract:**
15.
Works as lead QS for job in hand independently.
16.
Assisting Sub-contractor finalization (sending RFQs, getting proper quotations, technical compliance, preliminary negotiations & present compliance comparisons to the management for final negotiation)
17.
Assisting project team for commercial issues.
18.
Supporting procurement process.
19.
Site QS related works like Variations, payment applications, sub-contractor payment etc.
20.
Preparation of cost proposals for variations, and claims.
21.
Attend commercial meetings if required for variations and payment applications.
22.
Closing subcontractors final accounts.
Experience -6-10 Years
