The Senior SDET at DTH Virgin Atlantic team will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
As a Senior SDET, you will design and build automated test frameworks, execute test strategies, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications
- Write scalable and reusable test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
- Perform manual testing when needed, especially exploratory and edge-case scenarios
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality of features
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira
- Conduct API testing and backend validation (REST/GraphQL)
- Execute performance, usability, and security testing for mobile apps
- Ensure cross-device and cross-OS compatibility (different screen sizes, OS versions)
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality engineering best practices
