Full Job Posting

We are seeking a seasoned Software Delivery Lead to lead a cross-functional Salesforce delivery team at the Delta Technology Hub in Bangalore. Your mandate is quality. Work that leaves this team is right, tested in the environment it will run in, and complete. You have led software delivery teams before and you have made them better. You will lead a small, growing team, starting with a Salesforce Release Engineer, a Salesforce Platform Administrator, and two Developers. You partner with the Salesforce Product Manager, who owns scope, priorities, technical direction, and all commitments to the business. You are accountable for the work delivery and quality. The team’s roadmap includes integrating Salesforce with AI agents hosted on AWS, and you will lead delivery across both platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role. You build a team that produces work that is right the first time, and you delegate to it as it gets there. Where the team is not there yet, you step in yourself: reviewing, fixing, coaching, and guiding the team on what “done-right” looks like. Key Responsibilities Quality of Delivery Build the practices that make quality the team’s habit rather than your inspection: a definition of done the team owns, peer review before anything is called complete, validation in the target environment as a standard step, fault paths proven rather than assumed. Review directly where the team is still developing that discipline, and step back as it takes hold. Track quality outcomes and make them visible. Team Leadership and Development Lead, coach, and develop the team. Set clear expectations, give direct and timely feedback, and hold regular one-on-ones. Teach end-to-end ownership: owning the outcome, not the task. Own onboarding for new team members and their ramp to independent, reliable delivery. Manage performance, development plans, and the local HR relationship. Develop people to the point where they own outcomes without oversight and give them the room to. Delivery Execution Run the team’s delivery cadence: capacity, sprint execution, blockers, and the handoffs between development, testing and release. Keep the Product Manager informed of risks early, with options. Coordinate with Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, the Release Engineer, and QA Engineers so that stories move through the pipeline without waiting on each other. Protect the team’s focus. Standards and Process Own the team’s working standards and the documents that encode them: definition of done, testing expectations, coding and configuration conventions, and runbooks. Keep them current and true. When a standard is causing problems, fix the standard. When a document has drifted from reality, correct it before it causes damage. Cross-Team Collaboration Work across time zones with the U.S.-based Product Manager, business stakeholders, delivery partners, and the platform vendor. Represent the team’s status, risks, and needs clearly and without spin. Be the local point of contact for Hub leadership on matters concerning the Salesforce team.
