Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Qc Engineer
with 10–15 years of experience in quality control and quality assurance within construction, infrastructure, industrial, EPC, MEP, or oil & gas projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards, managing inspections, and leading quality activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Control Plans (QCP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and quality procedures.
- Ensure all project activities comply with client specifications, contract requirements, approved drawings, and applicable international standards.
- Lead and supervise QC Engineers, Inspectors, and quality personnel across project sites.
- Conduct inspections and verify construction, fabrication, installation, and testing activities.
- Review material submittals, method statements, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies regarding quality matters.
- Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, and close-out activities.
- Conduct internal quality audits and participate in client and external audits.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality management systems in accordance with ISO standards.
- Monitor testing and inspection activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Review and approve quality records, inspection reports, and handover documentation.
- Analyze quality performance indicators and recommend improvements.
- Support project teams in resolving technical quality issues and implementing corrective measures.
- Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related updates and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements during inspection activities.
