Role overview
Leads development of QA/QC department strategies and processes to ensure work follows specified methods, project quality plans, and procedures.
The role aims to assure service and product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the project QA/QC plan and supervise amendments, revisions, and distribution.
- Establish project quality objectives aligned with corporate IMS objectives and client requirements; monitor QA/QC report submittals.
- Review technical submittals, material submittals, and contractor method statements against project quality requirements.
- Build supplier and subcontractor controls and conduct site audits.
- Coordinate quality requirements with the project owner, consultant, and project management team.
- Prepare the plan within 30 days of contract start and obtain consultant approval; review quarterly or as needed.
Experience
- At least 15 years of work experience.
- At least five years in a relevant supervisory position.
- Five years of GCC experience is a plus.
