Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

Role overview

Project delivery and client relations

• Manage projects from initiation to completion and keep delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor project progress.
• Act as primary client contact, address concerns, and communicate project updates, milestones, and changes.
• Build client relationships to support repeat business and revenue growth.

Risk, teams, and design management

• Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and uncertainties, including exposure to claims and legal issues.
• Supervise project teams, provide guidance and mentorship, and coordinate cross-functional work.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project requirements, standards, and client expectations; manage changes, approvals, and quality assurance.

Operational excellence

• Develop project management best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor performance and conduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 15 years of infrastructure project management experience.
• Proven record managing medium- to large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Infrastructure design management experience is highly desirable.

Skills and competencies

• Leadership, team management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools; analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of construction contracts, risk management, and claims avoidance.
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
