Senior Project Manager - Infra & Master Plan

Role overview

Project delivery and coordination

• Leads project activities from inception through completion and develops execution plans, delivery strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
• Manages resources and construction activities, monitors progress, and takes corrective action to meet programme milestones.
• Coordinates design consultants, construction teams, contractors, and authorities; reviews engineering deliverables for constructability and project alignment.
• Manages design changes, resolves technical and construction issues, and leads multidisciplinary coordination meetings and technical workshops.

Contracts, schedule, and stakeholders

• Monitors contractual compliance; supports FIDIC and infrastructure contract administration and reviews variations, claims, and change requests.
• Coordinates with commercial and contracts teams on cost and contractual risks, negotiations, and resolution of contractual matters.
• Develops and monitors schedules, tracks milestones, coordinates construction sequencing, and implements schedule recovery plans.
• Serves as primary stakeholder contact, leads client reviews, and communicates project status, challenges, risks, and opportunities.

Risk, quality, and HSE

• Maintains risk registers and mitigation plans and leads risk review workshops and management reviews.
• Oversees compliance with specifications and quality requirements, QA/QC procedures, inspections, audits, testing, handover, and close-out.
• Champions HSE culture, compliance with project plans, client requirements, and UAE regulations, and participates in safety activities.

Leadership, reporting, and interfaces

• Leads and develops multidisciplinary teams and manages objectives, performance expectations, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Monitors performance indicators and prepares timely project reports and executive updates for management and clients.
• Coordinates project interfaces, underground infrastructure, utilities, traffic systems, utility relocations, authority approvals, and detours.

Requirements

• Experience leading transportation infrastructure project planning, coordination, and delivery.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate design consultants, construction teams, contractors, and authorities.
• Ability to manage project scope, quality, schedule, budget, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Knowledge of infrastructure contract administration, including FIDIC contracts.
• Ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships and communicate project status, risks, and issues.
• Knowledge of quality, HSE, risk, and project control processes.
• Ability to coordinate utilities, traffic systems, construction interfaces, and authority approvals.
