Senior Project Engineer

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Deliver infrastructure, cloud, and security projects from design through implementation.
• Run Microsoft 365 migrations across Exchange, SharePoint, and related workloads.
• Deploy Intune and Autopilot and lead endpoint migrations.
• Implement Microsoft 365 security and hardening, including MFA, Conditional Access, and Defender for Endpoint.
• Build and configure Azure and Windows Server environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot networks, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Work on backup, disaster recovery, and storage solutions.
• Create technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on Infrastructure, Systems, or Project Engineering experience; MSP experience is preferred.
• Strong skills across Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and Windows Server.
• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 projects and migrations.
• Strong Intune experience, including Autopilot and endpoint migrations.
• Experience implementing Microsoft 365 security, including MFA, Conditional Access, and Defender for Endpoint.
• Practical networking skills, including VPN configuration, plus experience with backup, disaster recovery, and storage platforms.
• Ability to plan and deliver projects independently, with strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Current driver's licence required for client-site travel.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid work arrangement; the role involves travel to client sites in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
