Senior Project Engineer

Ensure projects meet objectives and are completed safely through planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, technical direction, and quality compliance.
Assist the Project Manager with operational management, including people, time, contracts, safety, subcontractors, procurement, and project systems assembly.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from conception to completion to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate project plans, specifications, and timelines with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Supervise on-site activities and schedule labor, materials, and equipment.
- Track progress and implement corrective action for delays, risks, and issues.
- Inspect work and check compliance with design specifications and regulations.
- Prepare and review contracts, change orders, progress reports, and project records.
- Communicate status, milestones, and deliverables to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Manage budgets, expenditures, cost tracking, and expense forecasts.
- Identify process improvements and delivery efficiencies.
- Promote safety compliance and awareness among teams and subcontractors.
- Support HSE initiatives and safety activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution under company and IMS policies.
Knowledge and skills
- In-depth understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
- Proficiency with project-management software for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
- ERP knowledge, with SAP functional skills identified as a requirement.
- Communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Experience and education
- Minimum 8 years of work experience, including 5 years of relevant experience.
- Two years of GCC experience is a plus.
- Professional MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
