Senior Project Controls Engineer

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor programmes using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Manage WBS, programme baselines, reporting frameworks, progress updates and critical path analysis.
• Support forecasting, earned value management, performance measurement and change control.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, reports, executive summaries and stakeholder presentations.
• Support bid planning with tender programmes, resource schedules and delivery strategies.
• Promote best practice, continuous improvement and digital ways of working.

Essential qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Proven project planning, scheduling and project controls experience.
• Primavera P6 expertise and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Experience with integrated schedules, programme baselines and WBS.
• Knowledge of forecasting, earned value management, resource planning, risk management and change management.
• Experience preparing controls reports, dashboards, KPIs and management presentations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure, transport, buildings or land development projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.

Desirable qualifications

• APM, PMP, PMI-SP or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Primavera P6 Professional Certification.
• Power BI, Acumen Fuse or similar digital reporting and schedule assurance platform experience.
• Experience with transport, rail, metro, aviation or land development programmes.
• Knowledge of FIDIC, NEC or similar contracts, cost control and earned value reporting.
