Role Description This is a part-time Senior Program Manager role based in Sharjah with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.
The Senior Program Manager will oversee complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through completion, ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining program objectives, developing detailed plans, tracking milestones, and managing dependencies and risks.
The role involves coordinating with stakeholders at various levels, facilitating regular status updates, and resolving issues that impact delivery.
The Senior Program Manager will also lead program governance activities, prepare reports and presentations for leadership, and mentor team members to support consistent, high-quality execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in program or project management, including leading multi-phase, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong skills in planning, prioritization, and coordination, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities, including communication, negotiation, and expectation-setting with diverse teams and leaders.
- Demonstrated capability in risk management, issue resolution, and data-driven decision-making.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and ability to collaborate effectively both on-site in Sharjah and remotely.
- Proficiency with project and program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar) and standard office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and outcomes.
- Experience mentoring or guiding teams, with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style.
- Background in managing programs within a corporate, government, or non-profit context in the region is a plus.
