Senior Product Owner

About the Role

Work Arrangement

• The role is full-time and offers a remote or hybrid arrangement in India.
• Work is scheduled during US time zone and US business hours.
• The stated work location is hybrid remote in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Required Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in Product Ownership, Technical Product Management, Telecom, BSS, Enterprise SaaS, or related domains.
• Experience in Telecom, BSS, Enterprise SaaS, FinTech, or another complex enterprise technology environment.
• Strong experience with Agile or Scrum product development.
• Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, requirements, and priorities.
• Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, and functional requirements.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and technical constraints.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap, backlog, priorities, and delivery.
• Translate business requirements into product requirements, epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, QA, UX/UI, and delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive initiatives from discovery through design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and production.
• Define business rules, workflows, functional requirements, and product documentation.
• Understand system architecture, APIs, integrations, dependencies, and technical constraints.
• Manage stakeholders, competing priorities, risks, blockers, delivery challenges, and scope.
• Coordinate UAT, product validation, business sign-off, and communication with US-based stakeholders.

Telecom and BSS Domain

• Strong Telecom BSS or Business Support Systems experience is preferred.
• Postpaid BSS experience is highly preferred.
• Desirable knowledge includes billing, invoicing, charging, rating, usage management, rate plans, tariffs, product catalogs, and product configuration.
• Desirable knowledge includes customer lifecycle management, account management, order management, CRM, payments, collections, offers, promotions, and BSS/OSS integrations.
• Desirable knowledge includes telecom APIs, system integrations, and digital customer journeys.

Technical Skills

• Experience or understanding of API design, REST APIs, system architecture, microservices, and API integrations.
• Experience or understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms, cloud-based applications, BSS architecture, billing and charging systems, data flows, and third-party integrations.
• Oracle BRM experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Telecom BSS, postpaid BSS, enterprise SaaS, billing, charging, rating, or revenue management experience is preferred.
• Experience with telecom operators, telecom technology providers, or US-based clients is preferred.
• Product Management, CSPO, PSPO, SAFe, or similar certification is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹1,379,937.46–₹2,445,351.94 per year.
