Role overview

Own a broad portfolio of Revit Core capabilities, foundational to Revit workflows and teams.

The platform areas include APIs and extensibility, MCP and agentic capabilities, cloud engines, interoperability, and data workflows; data is a key focus.

Use AI to prototype, analyze, and ship, translating technical capabilities into value for customers, developers, and partners.

Location and work arrangement

  • The posting lists Toronto and Montreal / Remote.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Revit Core capabilities and address new problems as the platform evolves.
  • Lead product direction for APIs, agentic workflows, and extensibility across Revit, Autodesk products, developers, customers, and partners.
  • Move Revit from file-based import/export to open, granular data, including AEC Data Model integration and ecosystem interoperability.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture leaders on cloud engines, platform modernization, and developer services.
  • Prototype, test, and validate ideas using AI tools and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Work with customers, partners, leading AEC firms, and developers to turn discovery into workflows and guide priorities.
  • Translate technical investments into customer, developer, and business outcomes for teams and senior leaders.
  • Align Revit, cloud, AI, platform, and discipline teams so decisions are made quickly and clearly.

Minimum qualifications

  • Product management experience with APIs, developer platforms, cloud services, AI products, or complex enterprise software.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based products, agentic workflows, or developer tooling, and a habit of building with AI.
  • Strong technical fluency and credibility with software developers and architects.
  • Ability to lead ambiguous cross-team initiatives from problem definition through adoption.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including explaining complex technical concepts simply.
  • Comfort managing stakeholders, risk, and uncertainty and collaborating with a global team.

Preferred qualifications

  • API experience or prior software development experience.
  • AEC, CAD, BIM, or design software experience is helpful but not required; candidates from AI, platform, and cloud backgrounds are also welcomed.
  • Familiarity with open standards such as IFC, or experience managing large volumes of data.
  • Experience with agile/Scrum methodologies.

Salary transparency

  • For Canada-based roles, the stated starting base salary range is CAD 122,000 to CAD 179,300; offers depend on experience and geographic location and may exceed the range.
  • Compensation may also include annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and benefits; commissions are noted for sales roles.

Onboarding

  • The role may require in-person onboarding and/or in-person identity verification.
