Role overview

The Senior Product Manager (AI) defines, delivers, and iterates AI-powered products and capabilities throughout the product life cycle.

Workplace

  • The employer says employees may work from the location that suits them and explicitly offers the option to work 100% remotely.

Product strategy and delivery

  • Own AI product vision, strategy, and market fit across areas such as recommendations, pricing, search, workflow automation, and conversational tools.
  • Lead discovery, product planning, launch, adoption, optimization, and backlog prioritization.
  • Gather and document business and data requirements; define product outcomes, increments, and minimum viable products.
  • Evaluate delivery against acceptance criteria, UX standards, and AI behavior metrics; assist with UAT, defect triage, and mitigation.
  • Coordinate prototypes and scalable AI solutions with Data, Sales, Design, Product, QA, Engineering, software development, and data science teams.

Research, governance, and communication

  • Study customer and dealer needs, user workflows, target markets, competitors, and industry trends to guide AI product decisions.
  • Advise stakeholders on product capabilities, limitations, measurement, monitoring, responsible use, and AI-specific risks such as bias, hallucination, output quality, and safety.
  • Communicate experiments, results, work in progress, and priorities clearly and without hype.
  • Develop business cases that outline expected value, model and infrastructure costs, and risks; lead coordination of strategic AI initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in product management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in product management, product ownership, business analytics, or beta analytics within software product development; the description states both 4–6 years and 5+ years, including 2+ years on AI/ML-powered features or data products.
  • Experience eliciting requirements and managing technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as customer support and bug tracking.
  • Experience and proficiency with modern product and collaboration tools; JIRA, yED, and G Suite are examples.

Preferred experience

  • Familiarity with analytics or experimentation tools such as Optimizely, Fullstory, or Adobe is a plus.
  • Marketplace, advertising, e-commerce, SaaS, or other data-rich domain experience is a plus.

Compensation

  • Expected salary range is CAD 170,000–200,000 per year.

Benefits and company

  • Benefits include paid time off, flexible leave, continuing education, medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, and a wellness program.
