The platform serves global B2C travelers, B2B partners, and internal finance and analytics consumers across business lines and brands.
The role improves the Book-to-Serve journey by increasing purchase, booking, and payment success and reducing failed customer interactions.
Responsibilities

- Work with engineering and architecture on APIs, distributed systems, and cloud integrations for orchestration, retries, and intelligent routing.
- Lead incident learnings, root-cause analysis, defect reduction, and monitoring improvements to reduce failed customer interactions.
- Lead cross-functional delivery, prepare PRDs and prioritization and delivery plans, and align stakeholders through executive updates and trade-off discussions.
- Explore AI/ML, LLMs, anomaly detection, synthetic monitoring, and agent-assisted operations to prevent booking, payment, and servicing failures.
- Track success metrics using data, dashboards, and experimentation; identify friction and prioritize improvements across the Shop-to-Book-to-Serve journey.
Minimum qualifications

- Proven ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps that improve success, reliability, and cost metrics for large-scale systems.
- Strong technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, data platforms, and cloud architectures, and ability to partner effectively with engineering.
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and stakeholder communication, including executive updates and influence without direct authority.
- Strong analytical rigor using data, experimentation, and root-cause analysis to guide decisions and reduce failed customer interactions.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with order management systems, reservation platforms, travel or hospitality commerce, marketplaces, or other high-volume transactional products.
- Familiarity with purchase, booking, payment, authorization, cancellation, refund, and contact/failure metrics.
- Experience integrating suppliers, payment providers, fraud systems, customer-support tools, finance platforms, or external B2B partners.
- Experience building or scaling self-service capabilities for cancellations, changes, refunds, and trip management.
- Experience with platform cost optimization, telemetry efficiency, cloud economics, or governance programs.
- Software engineering, systems architecture, or computer science background; ability to engage in technical design discussions.
- Experience operating products globally across brands, business lines, markets, currencies, regulatory environments, or customer segments.
- MBA or equivalent business education; technical degree or equivalent technical experience.
