We are seeking an experienced
Senior Product Designer
to lead the end-to-end design of next-generation
digital payments and wallet solutions
across mobile and web platforms.
The role combines
UX strategy, UI design, interaction design, visual design, and motion design
to deliver seamless, secure, scalable, and premium digital experiences throughout the complete payments lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing
transaction-heavy FinTech products
, transforming complex payment and compliance workflows into intuitive user experiences while defining the product's visual language, interaction model, and design system.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Own the complete product design lifecycle from discovery, user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, visual design, and developer handoff.
- Design intuitive user journeys for digital wallets, P2P transfers, QR payments, bill payments, remittances, merchant payments, checkout, onboarding, KYC, authentication, identity verification, and account management.
- Simplify complex payment workflows, financial products, backend processes, and regulatory requirements into seamless user experiences.
- Craft premium, pixel-perfect interfaces with exceptional visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, color systems, accessibility, and consistency across iOS, Android, and Web.
- Design purposeful micro-interactions, animations, and motion that enhance usability, feedback, engagement, and product quality.
- Translate complex, data-heavy financial information into clear, intuitive, and highly scannable interfaces.
- Define, build, maintain, and scale enterprise design systems, reusable UI components, interaction patterns, design tokens, and documentation.
- Optimize user journeys for usability, accessibility, conversion, task completion, performance, and error recovery using research, usability testing, analytics, and data-driven insights.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Customer Experience, and Business teams throughout Agile delivery cycles.
- Present design concepts, rationale, prototypes, and user insights to stakeholders while ensuring high-quality, pixel-perfect implementation.
- Support product storytelling, landing pages, service design, and customer journey mapping where required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5–8+ years of Product Design experience, preferably within Digital Payments, FinTech, Banking, Digital Wallets, Financial Services, or Telecom-linked Payments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design for transaction-heavy, mobile-first applications with premium UI, interaction design, motion design, and scalable design systems.
- Hands-on experience designing digital wallets, payment flows, checkout journeys, QR payments, P2P payments, KYC, onboarding, authentication, financial dashboards, transaction history, and merchant experiences.
- Strong expertise in UX research, information architecture, user journey mapping, wireframing, interactive prototyping, design thinking, service design, interaction design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability principles.
- Expert proficiency in Figma; experience with Sketch, Adobe XD, FigJam, and Miro is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Rive, Lottie, and Principle.
- Strong understanding of design systems, responsive and mobile-first design, data visualization, conversion optimization, API-driven products, payment gateway integrations, banking systems, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, Fraud Prevention, PCI-DSS, BPMN 2.0, customer journey orchestration, AI-powered products, conversational interfaces, and data-intensive applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working in fast-paced, high-growth product environments.

- Establish scalable enterprise design systems that ensure consistency across all digital products.

- Deliver high-performance, scalable digital payment experiences through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
