Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate prices, terms, and contracts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Coordinate local and international shipments, including import and export documentation.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance, and transportation activities.
- Track purchase orders and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and shipping regulations.
- Prepare procurement reports, purchase orders, shipment records, and supplier performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and shipment documentation.
- Experience dealing with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs clearance processes.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
