About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Vendor Management Executive
to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchasing activities.
The role involves ensuring cost-effective procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting business operations by delivering quality materials and services on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage
- end-to-end procurement processes
- including sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, and purchase orders
- Identify and evaluate
- vendors/suppliers
- based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
- Negotiate
- pricing, contracts, and terms
- to achieve cost savings
- Ensure timely
- procurement of goods and services
- as per business requirements
- Maintain and update
- vendor database and procurement records
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery or quality issues
- Coordinate with
- internal departments
(Finance, Operations, Admin)
- Ensure compliance with
- company policies and procurement procedures
- Track and manage
- inventory levels and reorder requirements
- Prepare reports on
- purchasing activities, cost analysis, and savings
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in
- procurement in UAE
- is mandatory
- Strong negotiation and
- vendor management skills
- Knowledge of
- procurement processes, contracts, and supply chain operations
- Experience with
- ERP systems
- (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Good analytical and cost management skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in
- MS Excel and reporting
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in UAE market/vendor ecosystem
- Knowledge of
- import/export procedures
- Exposure to
- contract management and compliance
- CIPS certification (or equivalent)
