Role overview
Supports high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients with day-to-day banking, personal credit, and connections to wealth specialists.
Accountable for onboarding and managing client relationships and providing personalized financial services, with significant emphasis on credit solutions.
Responsibilities
- Triage retail prospect referrals to the appropriate Private Wealth Management team after initial discovery.
- Discover client goals and identify opportunities across Wealth and bank channels.
- Complete onboarding, banking activities, transactions, and complex credit solutions.
- Conduct proactive follow-ups to meet clients’ financial needs and expectations.
- Offer the bank’s products, advice, services, banking, and credit capabilities.
- Analyze credit and underwriting requests within assigned limits and guidelines.
- Attract, acquire, and retain customers and identify sales opportunities and referrals.
- Maintain effective risk management and controls; keep current on business developments and tools.
- Act as a brand champion for the business area and bank.
Qualifications and designations
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC).
- Complete the PFP or CFP designation within 36 months from the start date.
- A related post-secondary or undergraduate degree is preferred.
- CRS, CSWP, CIM, or TEP designations are desirable.
