Senior PR KOL Specialist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and manage high-impact KOL relationships aligned with brand values and business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end KOL event planning and execution, including brand activations, networking events, and partnership meetings.
• Serve as primary liaison between the company and KOLs, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Manage crisis communications involving KOLs and act as a calm, strategic contact during sensitive situations.
• Report on KOL performance, campaign impact, and public sentiment trends.
• Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Compliance to align KOL strategy with broader PR and business goals.
• Represent the company at industry events, media engagements, and KOL-facing activities.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in KOL or influencer relations, PR, or partnerships; tech, fintech, or consumer-brand experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to independently manage KOL portfolios from sourcing to activation and contribute with minimal onboarding.
• Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging high-profile individuals and handling sensitive conversations.
• Comfort representing the brand at external events and on-camera engagements.
• Strong crisis-management judgment, composure, proactivity, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
• Crypto or blockchain knowledge or interest is a plus, not mandatory.
