Full-time Senior Planning Engineer role focused on building and construction projects.
The role supports project delivery through planning, scheduling, progress control, and compliance with Ashghal standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to support timely execution.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and delay analyses.
- Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Follow Ashghal procedures and reporting formats.
- Support planning for tendering, execution, and project close-out.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering is required.
- The posting states a minimum of 15 years of total construction-planning experience and separately lists 10 years of work experience as required.
- At least five years of Ashghal project experience in Qatar is required, with the experience field specifying Ashghal building projects.
- Strong background in residential, commercial, or infrastructure building projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel; strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Certifications
- UPDA is listed as required in the license section; MMUP / UPDA is also listed as preferred in the qualifications section.
- PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Ashghal project management systems and standards is preferred.
Pay
- QAR 14,000–16,000 per month.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person; Doha is listed as the required location.
