The employer seeks a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background in building projects.
The role supports successful delivery of complex construction projects in compliance with Ashghal standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to support timely execution.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and delay analyses.
- Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Ashghal procedures and reporting formats.
- Support planning for tendering, execution, and project close-out.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- The description requires at least 15 years of total construction-planning experience; a separate experience field states 10 years of work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience on Ashghal projects in Qatar, including 5 years on Ashghal building projects as stated in the experience field.
- Background in residential, commercial, or infrastructure building projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel; strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- UPDA is marked required in the license field but listed as preferred in the qualifications section.
- PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous; familiarity with Ashghal project management systems and standards is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 14,000–QAR 17,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person; Doha is specified as the required location.
