About Egis

Egis provides architecture, consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services, with operations in 100 countries.

Its Middle East operations span eight countries and include engineering, consulting, and project management for development projects.

Role overview

Develop, maintain, monitor, and analyse programmes for transportation projects including rail, roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, and associated infrastructure.

Support project managers and project controls teams with baselines, progress monitoring, schedule risk analysis, completion forecasts, and corrective actions.

Coordinate schedules with engineering, project management, commercial teams, clients, contractors, joint ventures, and subconsultants.

Planning and scheduling

  • Develop detailed programmes in Primavera P6 or approved systems, with WBS, baselines, activity logic, durations, calendars, constraints, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Integrate discipline programmes into the master schedule and align with contractual scope, deliverables, design plans, and cost structures.
  • Prepare programme assumptions and planning narratives for baseline and revised programmes.

Progress and schedule analysis

  • Update schedules using actual progress and monitor planned versus actual performance, deviations, milestones, and schedule risks.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, look-ahead schedules, S-curves, milestone trackers, dashboards, and completion forecasts.
  • Assess delay, scope change, approval, design, and interface impacts; develop recovery and mitigation plans and scenario analyses.

Design and project controls

  • Plan design programmes across civil infrastructure, rail systems, alignment, structures, bridges, tunnels, geotechnical, stations, utilities, roads, traffic, and MEP interfaces.
  • Coordinate design deliverable registers, submissions, reviews, client comments, authority approvals, resubmissions, and discipline dependencies.
  • Coordinate schedules with cost control, earned value, resource planning, reporting, and financial forecasting; support progress measurement and commercial risk review.

Change and stakeholder coordination

  • Record schedule changes and assess variations, additional services, scope changes, extensions of time, and delay-related impacts.
  • Review contractor and subconsultant schedules, recovery programmes, and progress updates for contractual compliance.
  • Facilitate programme reviews and coordinate interfaces with project teams, clients, joint venture partners, contractors, and subconsultants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification such as PMP, PMI-SP, APM, PSP, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Formal Primavera P6 training or certification is preferred.
