Role Overview
The Fire & Life Safety Site Inspector inspects, verifies, and monitors compliance of FLS systems and provisions against approved designs, codes, project specifications, material submittals, and Civil Defence requirements.
The role covers active and passive fire protection, fire alarm and detection, smoke control, egress, compartmentation, and related interfaces during construction, testing, commissioning, and authority inspections.

The Fire & Life Safety Site Inspector inspects, verifies, and monitors compliance of FLS systems and provisions against approved designs, codes, project specifications, material submittals, and Civil Defence requirements.
The role covers active and passive fire protection, fire alarm and detection, smoke control, egress, compartmentation, and related interfaces during construction, testing, commissioning, and authority inspections.
Responsibilities
- Inspect multidisciplinary FLS works independently and assess installation compliance with approved designs and requirements.
- Identify design deviations, document site observations, witness testing and commissioning, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support Civil Defence inspections, approvals, and project handover.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant fire protection, fire alarm, FLS installation, inspection, supervision, or commissioning experience, including 5–7 years in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience on multidisciplinary construction projects and coordination with MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Familiarity with Civil Defence requirements, NFPA standards, project specifications, and approved authority requirements.
- NFPA CFI-II is mandatory. Civil Defence inspection and handover experience is highly desirable; other relevant professional certification is preferred.
