Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with Infrastructure & DevOps Experience

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and modernize business-critical applications using PHP, Laravel, Filament, and PostgreSQL.
• Maintain architecture, APIs, integrations, secure data exchanges, automated testing, static analysis, code quality, and code reviews.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Gitea; guide developers through reviews and technical support.
• Lead application incident response, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive measures.
• Administer high-availability Proxmox infrastructure, Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Linux systems, containers, and platform services.
• Maintain PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Gitea, web servers, Icinga, Grafana, and Loki for stable operations.
• Support access management, patching, security, backups, recovery, capacity planning, monitoring, logging, and automation.
• Document architecture, configurations, operational procedures, recovery plans, and runbooks.

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development and related ICT domains, including senior developer, technical lead, or equivalent specialist experience.
• Strong production PHP and modern framework experience, ideally Laravel; familiarity with PHP 8.4, Laravel 12, and Filament 5 is advantageous.
• Strong application architecture, API design, integration, and relational database knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL; business-critical application experience is essential.
• Knowledge of secure coding, testing, static analysis, code reviews, and software quality; Pest, PHPUnit, PHPStan, and Laravel Pint experience is beneficial.
• Practical Git workflow, Jenkins, CI/CD, and deployment automation experience.
• Hands-on Linux systems administration across virtualization, containers, storage, monitoring, backups, security, and production support.
• Production incident, root-cause analysis, recovery, and prevention experience.
• Proxmox, Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Icinga, Grafana, Loki, and OVH experience is strongly preferred; VMware, KVM, Prometheus, or comparable tools are valuable.
• Ability to document technical information, communicate, work independently, and collaborate; professional English is required.
• A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is accepted.
• Master data management, product information, supply chain, or procurement systems experience is an additional advantage.

• PHP 8.4, Laravel 12, Filament 5, PostgreSQL 15, Composer, Git, Gitea, Jenkins, PHPStan, Pest, Laravel Pint, Bruno, Sphinx, and Doxygen.
