Senior Operator, Logging Services

Job purpose

Logging operations

• Perform rigging up and rigging down, running in hole, pulling out of hole, draw work, and preparation of logging strings as required.
• Run logging tools and operate the winch and winch control panel, including understanding their measurements.
• Check and test logging tools.
• Participate in training on radioactive material use, transport, and storage and on well-logging explosives, including perforations, transport, and storage.

General accountabilities

• Implement applicable functional policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training for competency-based training programs supporting UAE nationalization.
• Identify opportunities to improve operating procedures and functional processes.
• Comply with HSE requirements and sustainability guidance; participate in emergency response as a team member.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment during operations.
• Provide inputs for section progress reports and prepare KPI checklists for management.

Qualification and experience

• Diploma in Logging Engineering or equivalent.
• Six years of wireline (E-Logging) experience.

Work environment

• Work is primarily in an air-conditioned environment, with possible exposure to heat, humidity, and dust during occasional site visits.
• Physical effort is described as minimal.
